The most likely cause of your problem is the master switch in the drivers door.
Door lock will not respond to wireless transmitter nor unlock button in the vehicle.
It will not lock unlock any of the doors.
You can yank the fuse and do a reset when the door lock misbehave again or you can take it to a shop and have the door lock software updated to correct the problem.
Very frustrating have always owned chevy but with oil cunsumption and this problem it will probably my last one.
